Join MTRP Trail Guide and resident Astronomer, George Varga, at the far end of the Kumeyaay Lake Campground's Day Use Parking Lot, from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. A telescope will be available to view the nighttime sky! In consideration of others, no lanterns or white-light flashlights are permitted near the telescope. * Note: Cancelled if raining or cloudy. The Moon will be waxing and at First Quarter so it will contribute a bit to light pollution. Planet Saturn will be up to the Southwest. The Ring Nebula (M57) in Lyra, the Hercules Cluster (M13) in Hercules, Globular Cluster M22 and the Lagoon Nebula (M8) in Sagittarius will be viewed, Moon and city light pollution permitting.
