Greg Campbell and Patty Hall have been making music together since 2003, when they first met at a Chula Vista Open Mic.
In the years that followed, Patty and Greg have been invited to appear at music venues such as Just Java, Borders Books & Music, Rebecca’s Coffee House, and Kaffee Meister) and have appeared together at major gatherings and festivals (including Adams Avenue Roots/Unplugged Festivals, Sam Hinton Memorial Folk Festival, Western Regional Folk Alliance, Pine Valley Days, and Old Poway Park Train Song Festival).
Greg and Patty each bring a different kind of music to the stage. Greg is an accomplished guitar picker, bass player, mandolinist, and song stylist, interpreting a wide array of American popular music from every era. Patty’s first loves are traditional / old-timey American folk music, interspersed with old camp songs, and her originals, rendered on 5-string banjo, guitar, and National steel slide guitar.
After more than a decade of performing both as a duet, and backing each other as soloists in multiple performances, Greg and Patty are appearing today as the Rounders, adding to their past repertoires a special mix of audience-pleasing gospel, blues, and old-school country music.
Please welcome GREGORY MARTIN CAMPBELL and PATTY HALL – THE ROUNDERS!
