Jim and Jo Anne Holman
Jim and Jo Anne retired, sold their Santee home of 25 years and became full-time RVers 3-1/2 years ago. The first few years were spent seeing the West Coast and Canada and returning often to visit their three daughters and five grandchildren. Their plans included experiencing different outdoor life styles. In their travels they noted many of the campgrounds had camp hosts and felt they too would enjoy the experience of interacting with park staff and campers. Jim and Jo Anne decided to winter in San Diego and the camp host position at Kumeyaay Lake Campground was perfect for them.
Jim and Jo Anne have been married 40 years and are originally from Northern California. Jim spent over 36 years in civilian service with the U.S. Navy. Jo Anne spent the early years of their marriage as a stay at home mom and then built a career in banking.
They look forward to your stay at Kumeyaay Lake Campground and hope it will be an enjoyable experience.

Cherrie St. Germain & Andy Koperdak
Andy and Cherrie have been enjoying the full-time RV lifestyle for about five years. They moved from a home in Pacific Beach and are “practicing for retirement”.
Andy was born in San Diego but raised in Virginia. In 1999 he finally made his way back. Andy spent 20 years of his life focusing on submarines, both in the US Navy and then as a contractor. He left that job in 2006 to focus his attention on the management of their rental properties. For the past several years Andy has also volunteered with the National Forest Service in the San Jacinto area as a wilderness ranger and spends his spare time hiking,
Cherrie has been in San Diego since 1987 and has two grown children. She works full-time in the investment industry and volunteers with Voices for Children as a court appointed special advocate for foster children. Her goal is to retire in 2010 so she and Andy can travel.
Andy and Cherrie are anxious to get acquainted with visitors to Kumeyaay Lake Campground. If there’s anything they can do to make your stay more enjoyable, just let them know.
