25th Annual Amateur Photo Contest Entries On Display - June 17 to July 14 

All the mounted photos submitted for the 25th Annual Amateur Photo Contest are on display in the Visitor Center Gallery through July 14.  Come by and vote for your favorite photo as part of the "People's Choice Award."  You are invited to the reception and awards program on Sunday, June 25th from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Visitor Center.  All the photos emailed to us will be on display on a 32 inch monitor beginning on Tuesday, June 20. Here is a link to a video preview of the Amateur Photo Contest Entries.  Each month Cameron Scott (cameronb.scott@gmail.com), a professional viedographer, donates his time and expertise to produce a preview viedeo of each show.  This year's Amateur Photo Contest is sponsored by San Diego Family Magazine.

The MTRP Visitor and Interpretive Center is located at One Father Junipero Serra Trail, San Diego, CA 92119, and it is open daily from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Admission is free. Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation offers opportunities for visual artists to display their work. Currently, these displays are limited to two-dimensional works. Displays of artwork are rotated every four weeks throughout the year.
Regardless of the media, certain criteria must be followed as outlined by the Mission Trails Regional Park Foundation. Information and applications for exhibit consideration is available at the Visitor Center from May 1st through June 30th for the next exhibition year.
