Mountain Bike Guided Nature Ride Series- Ride #1 is Saturday, Oct. 7, 20171


Guided Mountain Bike Nature Series with an MTRP Park Ranger and MTRP Foundation Adminstrative Assistant Maggie Holloway will resume October 7, 2017

Every first Saturday of the month (except July, August and September) - The next ride is Saturday, June 3.  Meet at the West Fortuna Staging Area located at the east end of Clairemont Mesa Blvd. The ride will be from 9am-11am in Mission Trails Regional Park

Looking for a new family outdoor activity and an opportunity to try out the new mountain bike that may arrive over the holidays? Want to get to know the park and increase your skills? Join ranger Araceli Dominguez and MTRP Foundation Administrative Assistant Maggie Holloway for this fun, nature and progressive beginner to intermediate series of rides.  The next ride is October 7 and is for beginning mountain bike riders. The ride will begin at 9:a.m. with a maximum distance will be about 10 miles. Come early and volunteers from San Diego Mountain Biking Association will help you make adjustments to your bike. Join us on some or all of the rides in this series. Remember to bring plenty of water, sunscreen and snacks. Wet trails cancel rides. This ride is not for beginners.  Click the link below for more information about the program. This is the first in a series of three mountain bike rides.  The program will begin again on Saturday, October 7. Check back in September for the location of this ride.

This series repeats every three months and does not operate in the months of July, August and September. Check mtrp.org /events for next series dates.
